Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using uppr, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of service

uppr provides hypertrophy training tools including workout tracking, periodised progression (RIR ramps), exercise management, AI-assisted plan generation, and coach reporting. The app is designed to help you train more effectively.

uppr is not a substitute for professional medical or fitness advice. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting or changing an exercise programme, especially if you have pre-existing conditions or injuries.

3. Free trial and subscription

uppr offers a 30-day free trial from account creation. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the training features.

Pricing:

• Monthly: $9.99 USD
• Quarterly: $24.99 USD
• Annual: $99.99 USD

Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's account settings.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google per their respective policies.

4. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app (More → Account → Delete my account). Account deletion is permanent after a 30-day grace period.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use uppr only for lawful purposes. You will not:

• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app to distribute harmful content
• Abuse the API or attempt to overload the service

6. Intellectual property

uppr, its design, code, exercise catalogue, progression algorithms, and content are owned by uppr and protected by copyright. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without permission.

Your training data belongs to you. You can export it at any time using the app's export feature.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

uppr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We are not liable for:

• Injuries resulting from exercises performed using the app's recommendations
• Data loss beyond what is within our reasonable control
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Decisions made based on coach reports or progression data

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. AI-generated content

The AI prompt builder generates text prompts for use with third-party AI services. uppr does not control the output of these services. AI-generated training plans should be reviewed before use. uppr is not responsible for the quality, safety, or accuracy of AI-generated content.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. On termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. Data deletion follows our standard account deletion process.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
